2077 Poush 23
Maruhiti, Kathmandu

Dear Tapas,
I was very happy to know about your village. I thank you for writing about it in detail. After reading your letter, I want to visit your village. Will you take me there some time?

Since you also want to know about my village, let me write what it is like.

My village is in Sarlahi district of Province 2. Its name is Bhandsar. It borders Bihar, a state of India from the East and the South. It adds advantage to our villager as we can get easy access to Indian territory for various needs such as market, education, transportation and medical facilities.
A river named "Lakhandehi" flows through my village. It's an annual river. Despite this our village lacks proper irrigation system. This is due to poor governance and careless agricultural vision of our policy makers. In rainy season due to lack of proper drainage system my villagers have to face flood every year. Also, a part of village get cut off from main village area. This deprives them from basic facilities like market, school and health services. May all these problems will be addressed soon by a common effort vilagers and goverment authorities.
When talking about facilities available at my village are education at higher secondary level (+2). For further higher education students go to cities like Janakpur, Birgunj, Kathmandau and various cities of India. Electricity and telecommunication services are availble there.
People mainly works abroad. Very few people are engaged in local agriculture and employment.

That's all in this. Do come some time to visit my village.

With love,
Niroj Khadka
